Here’s a look at my painting process for a pair of custom Str Wars shoes featuring Darth Sidious/Emperor. On this last painting stage, I finished painting the left shoe hand area and then moved on to painting in the Sith electricity.
In honor of Prince’s birthday, I decided to create this painting inspired by the Parade time period. I started on this Batman piece recently. It’s painted on black illustration board. In high school this was one of my favorite types of illustration, but back then I used colored pencils to render the subject. it’s great to experiment with this type of illustration using acrylics this time.
On this day, one of my all time favorite movies was released “The Crow”.
