Slowly making a little more progress on this sketch cover between various projects. On this progress stage, I moved on to rendering the the face area with dry brush technique to create the symbiote texture.

Been busy with knocking out projects, commissions and conventions so haven’t had a chance to share the finished painted Doctor Doom Sketch Cover. Here it is all finished up. Rendered with Faber-Castell PITT artist pens, POSCA paint markers and Liquitex paint.
In honor of Prince’s birthday, I decided to create a painting inspired by the 1999 time period. I listen to Prince while creating my personal artwork and his music helps to fuel my creativity. Happy 61st Birthday Prince!
Almost finished up on this Doctor Doom Sketch Cover. This stage moved on to rendering the hood area. Lots of going back and forth with layering build up to get a cloth texture feel. Rendering with Faber-Castell PITT art pens and Liquitex paint.
